Below are some of the resources I trust, books I have read or recommend, and tools that have helped me build an online business and succeed as a copywriter.

Tools I Use to Simplify My Business

Grammarly: Offers a free and premium version. Both are great. The premium is better. Cost: About $20 per month.

Screencast-o-matic: I use this tool to make easy and professional video recordings from my computer desktop. It is so easy to use. I love it. I started with the FREE version, but upgraded to the paid version because I didn’t want the logo in my videos. Cost: About $30 a year.

Evernote Premium: This tool helps me keep information on all my devices. It’s a great place to take fast notes. You can tag and organize material. They also have a free version which is good on one or two devices.  Cost: About $35 a year.

Character Counter: I use this FREE tool to help with meta description and other character counts.

Headline Analyzer: This is a great FREE tool to test your headlines. You may have to supply your email address.

Email Subject Line Analyzer: This is a great FREE tool to test your email subject lines. You may have to supply your email address.

HemingwayApp.com: A FREE tool you can use to simplify the language of your copy and remove passive sentences.

Hosting and Tools for WordPress Websites

WordPress.org is a free platform for blogs and websites. For Mischelle007.com, I use the 2017 theme. For ReformedHealth.net, I use the Vogue theme.

Yoast is a WordPress plug-in that helps write SEO articles and blog posts.

BlueHost is the company that hosts my WordPress website. Host your own website here. Once you sign up for hosting, you can download WordPress for free.

Unsplash is where I find royalty-free (FREE) images to use on my website.

Pixabay is another place I find royalty-free (FREE) images to use on my website.
